Help Children Survive, Recover, and Thrive

Every child deserves the chance to be healthy, safe, and hopeful about the future.

But millions of children face challenges that put their lives and futures at risk. Conflict, disasters, poverty, disease, and climate shocks can leave children without food, healthcare, education, protection, or a safe place to call home.

When children need help most, UNICEF stays.

We stay before emergencies happen. We stay during crises. And we stay long after the headlines fade to help children recover, rebuild, and thrive.

Working in more than 190 countries and territories, UNICEF helps children access:

  • Healthcare and lifesaving vaccinations
  • Nutrition and essential supplies
  • Safe water, sanitation, and hygiene
  • Education and learning opportunities
  • Child protection and mental health support
  • Emergency response and recovery services

Why Monthly Giving Matters

Children's needs do not end when a crisis is over.

A monthly donation helps UNICEF respond quickly to emergencies while supporting long-term programmes that help children survive, recover, and build brighter futures. Reliable support allows us to reach more children, wherever and whenever they need help.

Nutrition in Emergencies: Protecting Children When Disasters Strike

When disasters disrupt access to food and health services, children are often the most vulnerable to malnutrition. Through the Philippine Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP), UNICEF is helping strengthen Nutrition in Emergencies (NiE) services by supporting frontline nutrition workers to ensure life-saving nutrition services reach children and families when they need them most.
