Since the onslaught of Super Typhoon Odette, UNICEF teams have been working tirelessly on the ground in many of the affected areas. Immediate needs of children include safe drinking water, health, nutrition and psychosocial support, protection from violence and continuation of learning.
UNICEF has sent an initial batch of life-saving supplies to Dinagat Islands, Siargao, Surigao City and Surigao del Norte such as water purification tablets, hygiene kits, jerrycans, tents and water storage units, but this is far from enough.
You can still help bring lifesaving supplies and support recovery and rehabilitation efforts to children and families affected by Super Typhoon Odette.
